CORNWALL HUMANISTS, recognizing the need
for atheists & agnostics to be cremated or buried with a non-religious
ceremony, appointed trained celebrants to conduct dignified ceremonies,
tailor made to the requirements of the deceased and their family. We see
it as celebrating a life. We are happy to advise and/or assist those
wishing to conduct a ceremony themselves. We have worked with many of
the funeral directors in Cornwall and can give advice if you require. We
also conduct meaningful non-religious weddings, baby namings and same
sex affirmations and offer speakers explaining Humanism to schools,
groups, etc.

Victorian Construction, designed by the
famous John Loughborough Pearson, architect of Truro Cathedral
(the first new cathedral in 800 years since Salisbury was built in
1220). 2007 is the 150 anniversary of the building of
Devoran Church, so we can expect some celebrations in the parish this
year. |
